Wow, I haven't made a journal since, well, FEBRUARY... wow (ahaha, times some really high number). I relly should make a new journal header too, but I have no inspiration at the moment :( Well I guess I talk about stuff that happened since February, although, I doubt I'll say much since I'm in a pretty much lazy mood right now... and I'm sick xD but if I write a lot then I'll amaze myself ^___^
My Israel trip (from March Break) was great, my favourite part was climbing Masada (with Marni's favourite drink besides water... ICED TEA xD but I didn't drink much because I wasn't that thirsty, so I was forced to drink tons of water afterwards xD)... I'm the youngest in my family now to walk all the way up (my mom was 16 when she did). I also really liked Jerusalem, although what I remember most was the chocolate Rugelach (I didn't even realize it was spelled that way before, thanks wikipedia it sounds like "ru-go-lah")... omg, it was so tasty My sister gave me a list of food to try there xD Omg those super creamy milk proucts, especially the cottage cheese (it's so, soooooo good :heart: )... overall, it was a great trip, but anyone reading this probably knows how passionate I am about food
Um, in April I don't think I remember anything interesting happening... SO LET'S SKIP THAT xD (ahaha... ha)
May was really good, especially with Anime North at the end (Marni's 4th year in a row going, this year I went on Sunday, as well as last year). I brought two friends with me this year (who had never gone before and were instantly addicted xD) who took loads of pictures. And still need to send them to me xD It was quite fun though, we're thinking about cosplaying next year (but have no idea what to go as yet xD though one of them suggested shaman king... I wonder if my hair would work for Hao?? ) And bought tons of manga :) And Arine Tanemura posters (one from FMwS and one from SDC)
And through these months there was the process of applying for a job as a CIT (Marni's first job ever) and I got accepted I was so happy, screaming-ishly happy when I found out I got it xD (ehehe, such a drama queen ) It's at a dance and drama (with some arts and craft stuff) camp, and it's less than a 10min walk from my house xD
And June... June... JUNE... exam month... a little self-explanatory, but anyway: I actually really like exams, just because I can study and get a lot of marks over with at once. But I had four this semester so I was quite annoyed... but rewarded by my hard work ^__^ I was so embassed though with my math exam, I got one mark off (96 out of 97) and wanted to see what I got wrong. On exam consultation day my teacher looked through the exam and stopped at a semi-easy question. "Marni, what's 20+2?" "22" (<-- marni's reply) I forgot to add the variables in one question, I was sooo sad... but I think my teacher thought it was kinda funny, cause everything else (including the harder questions) were right. I'm still embarassed xD Check all your tests and exams, it's worth it And now for the usual mark posting (my head hurts so much right now xD):
Math (academic): 98%
Spanish: 97%
French: 95%
History: 93%
I'm quite happy with my results for Grade 10 But grade 11 will definately be harder, I'm dreading the homework load For Grade 11 courses (I really hope I get them) I chose: Functions (gr 11 heading-for-university math... cause the names of some courses really confuse me xD), Biology, Chemistry, Physics, French :heart: , Drawing and Painting, Fashion and Creative Expression, and AP English (my teacher recommended me, I'm so happy!! It has a lot of mythology in it, and I love lerning about mythology ^_____^ I have to do summer reading/note-taking though, and I, uh, haven't started yet xD) ... and I can't seem to think of anything else xD
